Tractors in the Sun

A lovely day with family.

It started out with a walk to see some New Forest ponies for Cyclops, CyclopsJnr, and his Great Aunt and Uncle, then we went over to see his second cousin and her husband (second cousin in law)?

The sun came out and we sat in the garden for most of the time, and they had an electric tractor for their grandkids that CyclopsJnr was delighted to try out.  

There followed a game of "Tractor Escalation".  It turns out they have a full sized version of this "Gator" for the adults, which CyclopsJnr was delighted to ride as a passenger on (and have a little go of the steering under supervision).  They also had a mini-digger, so that came out too and as well as steering under supervision CyclopsJnr was able to raise and lower and tip the big bucket scoop on the front.  Pretty exciting stuff.

We had a delicious lunch and a lovely catch up with family before heading back for a game of frisbee before dinner.  About half way through dinner the excitement of the day caught up with CyclopsJnr, so a very tired boy had an early night - he was too tired to even have any interest in pudding!
