Sunday Morning Power Walk

I was going to go to the gym this morning, but as it was sunny we decided to get up and go for a power walk along the undercliff walk instead.  We walked 7 miles in total at quite a pace, but it was so warm and the sea was really calm so it was very enjoyable.  We walked all the way to the marina and then round the breakwater as far as we could go, which is where I took this shot looking inland, across the marina.

It was forecast to rain from about 11am so we'd both worn our waterproof coats, but it was even warmer as we walked back and once we got to Ovingdean we stopped at the beach cafe to have a drink and enjoyed sitting in the sun before heading home.

The rest of my day has been spent tackling the ironing and I think I've stood for about 3 or 4 hours, I lost track!  And it's still not finished, there was so much due to my 'old' smaller clothes that came out of storage, our holiday clothes and also due to the fact that I was told I couldn't do any for 10 days after my shoulder injection.  Anyway I've broke the back of it!

The Sunday roast was cooking while I was ironing, so we finally sat down to eat that at about 7pm.  Anyway, it's been a good day, I hope you've had a good one too!

My thoughts go out to Nicky and her family today on their sad loss of Murdoch
