Bad morning

Last night found the box of unused rice in cupboard was risotto rice. I’d promised rice for shared lunch at Quakers so was at supermarket when it opened to buy basmati.

Cooked whole packetand burned it! Set off smoke alarm and couldn’t turn it off so had to pull it off wall to get battery out

Had to leave for Meeting so called at supermarket yet again and got kebab bread as substitution for naan. Got there on time, but felt silly and exhausted!

But Gyp enjoyed some burnt rice with her dinner and so I’ll give rest to other animals tomorrow.
