Last day in Madrid

Woke to bright sunshine which allowed us to get the awning down and packed away before we headed to the family for a last meal - paella!

I really wanted to use the picture of it as my blip but it’s not downloading right now so the one of all of us will suffice.

The paella was ordered from a local restaurant and comes in the pan (deposit of €20 which is returned when the pan goes back) - clams, mussels, calamari, huge prawns and chicken - absolutely delicious.

Afternoon spent doing crafts with my niece before we took our leave. Sad to Leave as we’ve had a great time but we will be back.

Mr PHL feeling a bit better - keen to start the journey home so earlyish start tomorrow for our 4+ hour drive to the next site.
