A timeless view?

This is the drive to Halton Castle, Northumberland. The first manor house is thought to have been built in the 13th century. The tower, still standing, was built in the 14th century. I wonder how long this line of trees has been there and whether sheep were grazing all those centuries ago.

I went to see the physio today. We are agreed that my knee is not fully recovered but much better. I have to work it hard through rough walking. If it survives I won't need the arthroscopy just yet. Fingers crossed.
