So Much to Choose From

Today started with a little sunshine so we decided to head off to Royan. Elvis could have a stroll along the seafront, plus we could go to the Sunday market and buy our dinner for tonight. Mrs SoL wanted Sea Bass. The stall in the picture had the best looking bass. The prices are all very similar, so it is the feeling you have about the way they look that helps me decide. The stall owners happily fillet the fish as well. I can do it myself, but Mrs SoL is never really impressed with the spread of fish scales, entrails, heads and bones that are left by me. So, the man at the stall does the necessary. Before we left, we had a coffee (Mrs SoL) and a small Leffe Beer (Me) at a seafront brasserie. Its days like this that make all the work in the house and garden worthwhile. Onwards and upwards. Spare pic is of the harbour.
