Azalea Festival Fireworks

Some of my photos of the fireworks as taken from the fantail of the USS North Carolina Battleship.

We sat in a position so that when I was taking my photos of the fireworks, they would be exploding with the plane that used to be catapulted from the ship’s deck, would be in the foreground. I thought this would make it truly like bombs in the air.

It was very enjoyable although colder than I anticipated. Glad I keep that tartan woolen blanket in the car!

Today will be another quiet day at the house as we watch the Sunday sessions of General Conference on TV
