Veld fire

A strong south easterly wind was blowing today, and it was extremely hot. We are surrounded by a lot of bush and have often experienced veld fires...there was some panic when it looked as if the fire was coming towards our village but fortunately the wind didn't change direction and it was put out before anything dramatic could happen.
