Abandoned

I took another go at the Elata Yucca this morning and had another session of "nature's acupuncture". No matter how careful I am, the needles on this plant have a way of finding my bare arms.

Earlier this spring, there were finches going in and out of this plant and I found what they left behind. I also found several other abandoned nests. This must have been a favorite place before we moved in. I'm sure Bunker makes them a bit nervous.

I am grateful my work in the yucca is showing much improvement to the appearance. There is still work to do, but I like what I am seeing.
