A Circus Collage
Lisa saw a BIG (full page) ad in yesterday's paper that said that the Ringling Museum was going to have a free Saturday. All three places (the house, the art museum, and the circus museum) were going to be open, so...we needed a plan.
Figuring that most people would head to Mr. Ringling's house first, we arrived at 9:20 a.m., for the 10 a.m. opening. There were already 100 people in line to get in through the front gate (actually only 30...but 100 makes for a better story), but Timmy knows a back way in. We took a short walk along the bay, finished up at the ramp to the house, and were the 3rd and 4th people to get in to the house.
The top shot is John's house. The middle shot is a circus wagon. And the bottom shot is a HUGE oil painting that is 42 feet long and 22 feet high, and includes 45 performers and 45 animals.
