California poppies

Nothing says spring in California like these orange poppies. The are beautiful wildflowers, but they do not transplant well. We love these as an official announcement of spring. The lupine are also beautiful this year - must be a result of the great rains we have had through the winter. Beauty all around, we just have to be on the lookout for it. Grateful for the lush wildflowers blooming!
