Up and Down.

The pink glow in the eastern sky this evening looked lovely for the short time it lasted.
The extra shows a fallen kanuka tree which must have been weakened by tonnes of logs piling up against it last year during the ex-Cyclone Gita flood. Luckily it didn't fall on any sheep or hens.  It was a live tree and will be next year's firewood.
