Mr. Holden

We went to visit our old friend in his new rehab center in VA. It was a 3 1/2 hour drive in the rain. He seems to be going downhill each time we visit. He is suffering great pain in his right hand. From what we have been told it was not injured in his original fall. He did fall in the Baltimore rehab once when the aid was putting him in bed.His spirits are at an all time low. I'm worried. No talk today about going home, nothing to look forward to. It is hard to know what to do sometimes. It was a very long day but much better for us then it was for him.
