in the Herault river near the sea at le Grau d'Agde. On the dockside for much-needed renovation, Espérance 1881 was built for a fishing family in Agde in 1881 as a voile latine traditional fishing boat with a sail. The sea front at le Grau d'Agde is also being renovated this winter so almost all the cafés facing the sea are closed for six months while the work goes on. Luckily, one of our favourite bars, l'Horizon, was open for a snack at a table by the beach. The sun felt hot!
