Patrol boats
Minty and I took advantage of the lovely sunshine this morning to have a walk along the banks of the River Leven at Balloch where it flows from Loch Lomond towards the Clyde.
Having parked near Lomond Shores, we also had a peek at what was happening on the loch and saw these patrol boats berthed at the pier. There was some activity on one of them, so it was perhaps about to head out. As well as the task of rescuing anyone in difficulty on the loch, these boats are also used to monitor wildlife and repair buoys.
I liked the little flash of iridescence on the water in the bottom left corner.
Right, it's Friday and it's six o'clock, which means time for a glass of wine. Anyone want to join me? Have a good weekend, blipmates.
