Pitzhanger Manor and Anish Kapoor

This was the home of Sir John Soane, the architect of the Bank of England, from 1800 to 1810. It is a fantastic house with curved ceilings, wonderful mirrors and false doors. There is a gallery attached to the house and at the moment Anish Kapoor has an exhibition of his incredible mirrors and optical illusions in there - that’s why I appear be on standing on the ceiling! Well worth a visit and a great restaurant on site as well
