Just an idea

Path was very formal in a curve with every stone cut (see yesterday’s picture). Playing with a random pattern - with the small squares moving round in an arc which maybe the eye and users of the path will follow?

Inside and outside curves will still be cut but pattern in between will be random with carefully placed small squares.
