After finally sanding the floor we rushed up to llandegla to squeeze in a ride. semi-darkness however is not the best time to try out the red route for the first time ... while it was lots of fun we decided to cut short the ride and follow the forest track back to the car as the light was getting impossible to see.
Problem was the forest track we chose didn't lead to the car, anywhere and everywhere but, over two hours later at 11pm we ended up on a farm and asked directions, they kindly took my brother back to get the car and invited us in, very friendly ... "your not the first" the farmer jollied.
