Three horses and a kestrel
A lovely day with mbfiatw Jean - most of which was spent at the Fox and Raven over extremely leisurely lunch. So bitterly cold today that the landlord had a roaring log fire warming the place with cheer and comfort in what feels more like January than April, especially when the icy rain almost hail came, beating the windows and saturating Baddow Meads beyond. Best moment of our Country Watch had to be this kestrel, who kept hovering at an ever decreasing height until finally it dived in to the long grass presumably for lunch, and all the time the horses munched, undisturbed.....
Back home, Jean and I continued our flow of chat that included our latest health issues. what to do about Brexit and outlining our plan for world peace, until well past 22.00 where upon emotionally, spiritually, and calorie satiated, she drove back to Kent and I went to bed.
