Another busy day...mainly interesting/useful stuff although a rather long meeting in the afternoon that I could have done without.
The weather threw lots of extremes at us today - hail and driving rain then (luckily by the time I had to walk across town) the sun broke through. Managed to pick up an order from George St before arriving at the Assembly Rooms for an evening of student awards. Lots of clapping and cheering, bhangra dancing and a cappella performances. So much youthful joie de vivre! M and I were tired out and managed to creep out to head for home. No buses so walked home - thank goodness I've finally managed some steps this week!
