Sisterly love

I took this picture of Laura and Jen after Laura's choir concert at Miami University (Ohio) this evening. The concert featured all four choirs - the Choraliers (womens chorus), which Laura is in, the Chamber Singers, a smaller mixed group, the Glee Club, a large all mens group, and the Collegiate Chorale a large, but select mixed group. Each choir sang three pieces alone, then in the second half, the combined choirs (about 300 students) sang selections from Rutter's Gloria and Orff Carmina Burana. After the concert we all went to Starbucks before setting off home. Jen had come from her home in Columbus (a good two-hour drive) for the concert, to support her sister, so rather than drive back another two hours, she came back to Cincinnati for the night, and will return home tomorrow. Since Jen left home to go to college and now work in Columbus, she has always been so great about coming down to support Laura, and Philip when he was still around, in their various activities, which I so much appreciate, and I know it means a lot to Laura too.
