Balancing Act

A quiet morning with no Miss L in the house!
I headed over to get her at about Noon and then we drove to Winslow to meet my mum, dad, brother, Mr K and Miss E at The Bell for Sunday lunch.
It's my mum's birthday today and we do like to celebrate with a carvery!
As usual it was delicious. And as usual I ate far too much!
Our washing machine packed up yesterday so as well as daffodils, tulips and a spa day voucher I handed my mum a bag of washing!!! 
Ha ha ha, it's been a few years since my mum did my laundry!
After our lovely lunch we headed home to quickly get changed, pick up Archie and drive down to the park in town. 
Yesterday when I took Miss L to the party, Mr K and Miss E walked home from Harris + Hall and discovered the park. Two and a half years we've lived here and we've never been!
Miss E loved it and was desperate to show me and Miss L the places she'd discovered. We had a lovely walk along the river and wondered why we'd never been there before!
It just started to rain as we got back to the car but despite that I left them to drive back and walked back up the hill to our house. The Walk1000Miles challenge has literally changed my life!!
