Drippy

It was a long day but I made some people happy by fixing things.  And I made other people happy by telling them how to fix things.  And I made myself happy by remembering that I am really pretty good at my job.

And then I tried to get home.  When everything works, I can be home in about 45 minutes.  Or there are days like today, where the bus at 5 to 5 didn't show up at all, nor did the one at 10 past 5.  A bus did appear at 25 past 5 and the driver claimed to be bang on schedule....  I suppose that is exactly in the spirit of what I said a few days ago, a bus can't be running late if it doesn't run at all.

The journey should take 30 minutes and leaves me with a 10 minute walk home.

I got home just over an hour later.

I would be quicker on foot.  And I would lose a bit of weight.  That's tomorrow's plan.
