I have'nt tried the lamp yet ..........

A "friend" wanted me to attempt using the washing machine today after my recent experiences with all the fandangled gadgets in the kitchen, but, & I know she will be disappointed as she told me she could'nt wait to read my blip tonight, I managed to control my urge. I went shopping in Morrison's supermarket instead, well not really instead, BUT once I had shopped, got myself out of their car park and back to base I felt I had already peaked.
Dairy isle in a supermarket .. butter, cream, yogurt, milk?. Where's the milk??? I'm staring up at the overhead signage, nope, milk is'nt there, next isle in one direction is wine, not a bad substitute for drinking, but on the morning cereal ..... back two isles in the opposite direction I'm in fruit & veg. I looked for what I thought was a regular Morrison's shopper and asked the question. Milk is nowhere near dairy, it's in cages along from bread. Who thought that layout out I wonder, I know they pay professionals to create shop floor layouts. Well it worked, because by the time I'd found milk I had bought scallops from the wet fish counter, meat, veg to go with the meat & the scallops plus fresh herbs, I eventually found rice, and on my way to the checkout I passed the cider isle. Morrison's own label  medium dry cider, 4 cans for £2. Should I try it. Well it would have been rude not to ;) In fact, I'm sat here now quaffing a glass. It's that time :) So my 1ltr milk turned into £24.67 bill.
Got to tell you a van has just gone along the road past the window, on the side was written #Talent with technology ... That's me! I am that person!
Celebrity Painting Challenge starts tonight on the Beeb. I like watching people create, whether it be food, paintings, sculpture. Not bothered but who wins, I'm not competitive, I just like the process. That will be later after I've rustled up dinner with my lovely scallops.
Did I mention that I met up with Cassiesmum, Carolyn, & Nicky for coffee in Shaldon this morning. No, I don't think I did. Always fun to have a catch up, you can guarantee Nicky has a story that will have you in stitches, shocked, or gobsmacked. We planned a trip to the RHS Malvern Spring Show which should be a great day out. We love a horticultural  fix :)
