New snow on Canigou

When I arrived on Sunday, Canigou looked a little bare but yesterday's rain fell as snow above 1,000 metres and now the mountain has its winter hat back on again.  I cleared the yard of weeds in the morning and was pleased that the dry winter reduced my work by at least a day.  I also spread some salt on the gravel as I am always trying to find the best solution for weed control during my absences. The sun has been shining most of the day so it was lovely to be able to walk up thought the woods to the belvedere. My legs are feeling it now so I hope they will loosen up playing badminton tonight.
