Wishing Trees

Had to run some errands with my parents today so that meant a quick trip to Hadleigh for a few things and outside Morrisons I spotted these wishing trees! Essex County Council in their wisdom(!) are planning on shutting almost 30 libraries across the county, and that means the end for our local libraries in Hadleigh and Benfleet so we're all trying our best to keep them open.  So in Hadleigh they have gone for wishing trees which is a really sweet way of spreading the word - whether the councillors listen is another matter.  In the background is the old firestation - another thing that has closed over recent years along with police stations! What a time to be alive eh!!

Sunshine, cloudy and cold on the weather front today - the seedlings on windowsills are having to stay in a while longer! Which means less places to dust - win!!
