Accommodation

Having a weekend away with a friend, and lucky to stay in the home-away-from-home of a friend of her family's. It is a really beautiful house, very homely, peaceful and calming. Just what I needed.

I had some excellent mushrooms on toast at lunch time. They were made with cashew cream, which I've not had before and never would have guessed it wasn't dairy.

We also had an entertaining detour back from the food shop, whereby we decided to climb up a steep earth bank with heavy shopping bags. We had quite a struggle to the top, and when we got there S managed to drop the bread, all the way back down, and then some. So I ended up doing it twice! It was pretty embarrassing.
