Qui Nhon to Tuy Hoa

We started the day with a short transfer out of the city in the van. Interestingly 3 American or Canadian guys were leaving our hotel at the same time in another van with a set of bikes. They looked a bit better togged up than we did, it has to be said. We passed each other a couple of times along the day - our only real siting of other "westerners" on this little trip so far. A fantastic ride again and different yet again, cycling through cassava and sugar cane plantations and over rolling hills through fantastic sections of forest. This photo was taken while we were stopped having our picnic lunch. I love the elegance of cyclists here. It's certainly not all lycra and gear. We stayed the night in a slightly weird hotel near a lovely little harbour where we had the pleasure of watching the sun set.
