A stop at Swellendam

A reluctant goodbye to Knysna as we head west again. A few hours drive brings us to Swellendam, an interesting town with amazing mountains as a backdrop. We discovered this guesthouse a few years ago on our first visit to South Africa, beautiful rooms full of lovely antique furniture and a lovingly restored old building.
A swim in the pool was very welcome after our hot drive then a delicious meal in their beautiful conservatory.
