In Lapland

Wow I'm in Lapland!

I had a fascination with the place when I was about 7. I did a school project on it and remember drawing loads of pictures of reindeer and people dressed in the traditional Lapland dress. I admit my fascination faded pretty quickly but I always remember that school project, I think it was the first time I realised how differently people could live in different places according the geography etc.

Of course I'll probably just see the slopes, the hotel and a few bars...
