Water lilies

After being at home for over a week except for an outing on Saturday with my friend Melody,  today I escaped to the forest.    We drove to Barnwell State Park to try our luck fishing in the pond there and walked around the whole park on the nature trail.  It was 70F and just perfect.   Our weather is warming up for sure in the next week with 80's predicted for a couple of days.   

No fish but the flowers were blooming.   The water lilies were in bloom at one section of the pond.  It was a good distance away from the shore where we were so I was glad I had the SX60 today with its digital zoom. 

It felt great to get a long walk and to breathe in the green of the forest.
