Festive teapots!
Monday
A gloomy and at times stormy day today, with numerous rumbles of thunder and at one point this afternoon torrential rain. Roger was home today - in theory he was supposed to finish work tomorrow for the year, but unfortunately he has problems at work, and expects to be called in later in the week, so he decided to take a day today, when he was reasonably sure of it! First stop this morning was the post office - not a good idea on what they reckon is the heaviest mailing day of the year! However it wasn't too bad, as whilst there was quite a long line, it moved quite quickly. After a lunch of left-overs at home, it was off to do some remaining Christmas shopping. One of the shops I wanted to visit was at DeSales Corner, near O'Bryonville, and as we were returning through O'Bryonville it was about 4.30, so I suggested we stop off at the Bonbonnerie for tea and cake, and that is where I took today's blip. They have a wonderful collection of teapots decorating the place - these were above the tea canisters behind the counter.
