Painted Stairs

A quick trip into town today to pick up a book. While I was passing the Bon Accord centre I thought I should grab a quick snap of these colourful stairs in the time they are still clean. I think they were painted at the weekend and look quite good at the moment.

It had rained all morning, perhaps that helped to clean them. The day was windy and quite cold. Time to be thinking about heading somewhere warmer Thinking about somewhere warmer is exactly what I was doing as I bought a tourist guide to Sicily.

We had a sandwich for lunch at the cafe of His Majesty's Theatre. Maybe there is no matinee today as the cafe was very quiet, and the sandwich quite good. A lucky choice as it turned out.
