Dusk on a wet early spring evening in the New Town

People who follow me on Blipfoto know that I have a particular fascination for Edinburgh’s New Town , where I am lucky enough to live for part of most weeks.

This evening , just a couple of days after the clocks changed, the lights didnt come on until 8.00pm , but as it was almost dark the reflections on the wet pavements were particularly noticeable.

It also provided a contrast to the early morning shot on the same day four years ago - and from almost the same spot (but looking in the opposite direction)
