The kitchen table

Today was an extremely dreich with cold temperatures, blowing wind and falling rain.

Try as I might I just could not get warm today so about 1 pm I gave up. I took my book and crawled into bed under the warm covers! Oh to have warm feet and hands not to mention just being warm all over. I hate it when the damp cold gets ya and you can’t shake it.

Just glad I had something to read and nothing pressing I had to get done.
