History lesson....

A day of this and that. A trip to the doctor with junior for a swollen tonsil. A trip to the chemist for his antibiotics. A visit from our fuel rep with a drop off of 6 cans of kero to get the Aga and heating going again as someone ( me according to MrsF ) let the tank run empty yesterday. After a lot of faffing around eventually got the boiler pump bled and filters cleaned and we have heat. The Aga will need to wait till we have a full tank.
Brian from Border Livestock in to see another 22 blks that are for sale, and I have been causing a stink mixing slurry all day.
This plaque was on a wall in the Main Street today. I’ve spotted others since they tarted up the square outside the chip shop . Presume it was Lottery money or some other grant that needed spending. Pity they didn’t spend it clearing up all the dog sh.. on the pavements ! Welcome to Midlothian
