Duck on the Town

Today has mainly been about money. Our new bank person come in to see me. This happens every 18 months or so, the old one leaves, a new one comes in full of positive exiting things, promising loads of support and help. We then hear nothing for 18 months until they leave and we get a new one.

This afternoon was altogether more irritating with a client failing to pay even on their pretty punitive terms. Things came to a head a few days ago when we stood our ground and refused to do anything more for them until they coughed up. Clearly there is a risk here, they are a household name who are well over 200 times as big as us but that is no excuse not to pay. Anyway they have promised the cash wil be in the bank by tomorrow... We shall see.

Band practise this evening, getting a couple of songs polished ahead of the Rockaoke in a couple of weeks, should be a most entertaining evening.
