The Flash

Can’t believe I’ve stayed at this hotel for years for work and only just discovered that right behind it is a path that leads directly into Pennington Flash.

Last night I went out for a run and ended up doing 11km. My longest run in ages. Tonight after work I went for a 6km walk the other direction.

Some stunning scenery and wildlife. Birds mainly. Apparently it’s famous for bird watching.

No gags please about a bearded man wearing a flat hat walking around a park bird watching.....

I did, however, enjoy listening to my Hans Zimmer music on my iPod in the early evening sunshine.
