Daffodil delight

Delighted - and quite surprised - that the tight, pale-yellow buds I bought at the weekend opened in to such amazingly bright, cheerful daffodils! 

A friend came for coffee this morning with Fletch, the chunky chihuahua. He looked more than a little indignant as the humans enjoyed chocolate biscuits and failed to offer him any!

Tai Chi was cancelled this afternoon - a shame, but good in that I had time to tick off several items on the 'to do' list, and do a couple of other little chores too. Now to gird my loins, as it were, to put decorators' caulk in to the spaces between the window frames and the walls in the living room...
