I give up.

There was a chance today to rescue the whole mess, and it was passed up.

Up until now I’ve rejoiced that the ERG are so stubborn about getting exactly what they want that they will end up with their worst nightmare; but it turns out the Remain ultras are just the same.

“Vote for Norway 2.0? I simply couldn’t. It’s just not as good as being in the EU”.

Well, no, obviously not, but that isn’t the choice in hand right now and may never be. All aboard the No Deal express with that ridiculous troll Mark Francois at the vanguard, proving that being utterly clueless can be a quicker route to fame than talent, charm or even basic competence.
