Reaching Skyward

The trees here are much taller than I'm used to and it was uplifting spending time walking through the forest. I kept looking up to admire them and felt my place in the world in comparison.

In the middle of the day with high contrast and deep shadows, the sharp dividing lines between light and dark running up the trunks accentuate the perspective and height of the trees.
