Bedtime stories

Me and Anna tried very hard to hide from Monday under our duvet this morning. We obviously didn't do well enough because it found us. I blame Anna - she'd be a great hider if she weren't such a great giggler.

It's been an okay Monday as it happens. Just long. Worked whilst the kids were at school. Picked them up. Ignored them for a bit whilst I made some calls. Fed them. Paid attention to them at bedtime (they were being quite cute - see photo for evidence). Worked some more. When you work for yourself and the only thing you have to sell is your time then people wanting more of it than you have got is an interesting place to be. This is very much an observation and not a complaint. But at the same time I am very much looking forward to around 4.15pm on Wednesday when a day and a half of admin will be the only thing in between me and ridiculous amounts of festive cheer. Actually thinking about it I might incorporate some festive cheer into the admin.
