Garden glow

This is one of my favourite times of the year for the view down our garden. To the left is an ancient magnolia grandiflora in full bloom, and to the right is a magnolia stellata that usually blooms first, but is out at the same time this spring. At the end of the garden is our huge weeping willow. As for the tall dark green tree in the centre, that was originally bought as a ground cover shrub, but clearly neglected to read its own label!
