No shade yet

The trees in Prades market have been pruned back and it won’t be long before they provide welcome dense shade. I wouldn’t mind some dense shade today but unfortunately the rain has arrived. It has not rained for eight weeks here and it has been gloriously sunny but now that I have arrived the weather has decided to change! Actually, there is usually rain around Easter time so I’m not surprised. It was a pleasure once again to buy all the fresh market produce. My best purchases today were artisan Spanish ham and cheese and North African melon, avocados and soft, squidgy dates still on the stalk.
