Badajoz Bridge
On our way to Évora for shopping, suddenly decided to go to Badajoz in Spain instead. It's six miles further, but is far larger, though has the disadvantage that we don't know our way round as well, but then, if we never go, we never will...
Lots to photograph, but too busy to stop, until at last, on the way home, Mike dropped me at one of the four bridges that span the Guadiana (that feeds into our Lake), and I got some shots of the Puente Real, the newest one, with some colour still in the sky.
Gratefuls:
- waking in the night to the sound of rain, and more while we were away, so welcome!
- eating a delicious hamburger for lunch at around 5 o'clock, hunger is definitely the best seasoning
- though Mike didn't find any of the plumbing tools he wanted, I did find some red geraniums that I wanted
