Today was the first day of Audrey's new routine so I stayed home to make sure I could keep a proper eye on her and not miss any hunger or tiredness cues.

It went really well. So well that she managed the 2 hour lunchtime nap and I worried she was never going to wake from it!

Going to make a few tweaks to it tomorrow and then we should be set hopefully (give or take Audrey telling me different).

She ate some of my homemade baby food today so all in all a good day.

The heavens opened over South Manchester so at 5pm after waiting for a never-appearing break in the clouds we headed out into the torrents to the Post Office (pictured). We were greeted by queues and lots of miserable wet people. Don't you just love a rainy Monday in Manchester?

Home to cook tea for my sister Jo who is here ahead of an interview in Didsbury tomorrow. Can't even begin to articulate how much I want her to get this job so she can move up here from Nottingham. It actually hurts.
