And a robin in a Christmas tree......

We managed to find a lovely tree today after a certain amount of despair yesterday. Having sorted out our decs - Ellie chose red and gold this year, we decorated said tree and always have a robin that was bought many years ago when life was simpler and the children we're still tiny - happy days.....
So I've just got the Christmas cakes to make - the fruit has been steeping in brandy for two days and is smelling fab...u...lous so I'd better get on and bake it - better late never.....
