Perhaps this should be Supper Food? The beetroot continues to grow, with less rabbit interest than last year. It took 5 to make this Feta, horseradish and sourdough bread crumble though, as they are not very big.

When I shared digs in London several years ago it would have been classed as a 'throw-together'' but this was not the original intention. Should have used more yoghurt, less crumble, cooked the beetroot longer initially and used salad leaves to accompany it which did not start their photosynthesising in July.

I have to say though that there are a lot of happy taste buds in our house tonight, and we are thankful as always, to have enough to eat.

And somewhere safe, warm and dry to sleep...
