20C at Kew Gardens

R’s parents are with us for the weekend so today we headed to Kew to see the newly renovated Pagoda. The blossom in the gardens was beautiful and strolling in lovely warm sunshine really made it feel as if spring is really here.
By 4.30pm we had more guests arriving, Catherine & Graham, on their way home from 6 weeks in Costa Rica. It sounds like they’ve had an amazing time and a country that’s well worth a visit. They are just home for 10 days to prepare their mobile home for 4 and a half months in Europe. They definitely have the right idea and work to live.
As we’ve given up our 2 bedrooms for family and friends we’ve had to decant round the corner to Lori & Matt’s for 2 nights. We’ve been made very welcome, though Matt’s away, so luckily for us he won’t be tempting us with night caps.
