Smooth road

Well, finally we can drive to Lyttelton again over Evans Pass.  It is a popular biking route, and now there are special stopping places just for bikes.  I cheated and took the car, but stopped on the top to walk along the Crater Rim walkway to the west, which goes through the area where the construction depot used to be.  It has been nicely reclaimed, grass sown, new track built, etc.  Great to have this route open again after eight years (since the February 2011 earthquake).
